BreadCrumb started with a simple frustration.
Like a lot of people, I had plenty of task apps, notes apps, and project tools. But every time I opened them, I still found myself asking the same question:
“Where did I leave off?”
Big task lists were overwhelming. Projects scattered across different apps made it even harder to keep momentum. Sometimes all I needed was a small reminder of the next step so I could get back into the flow.
That idea became BreadCrumb.
BreadCrumb is designed around a simple concept: instead of tracking everything at once, it helps you always know your next move. Each project keeps a clear “Up Next” task so you can quickly pick up where you left off.
The app also includes tools for organizing ideas, notes, and projects in one place — plus an AI assistant to help turn messy thoughts into structured tasks.
BreadCrumb is an independent project built by a solo developer in Denver, Colorado. What started as a personal solution slowly turned into something worth sharing with others who struggle with the same problem.
The goal is simple:
Make it easier to start again when you’ve lost your place.
Because sometimes progress isn’t about doing everything — it’s just about finding the next breadcrumb.
